Rights of future generation is often disregarded in lex lata. However with the rise of environmental problems the issue became more important. In this book the current climate regime and right to environment is taken into account and then the legislation in relation to the rights of future generation. It has to be discussed in many aspects in the light of climate change and environmental problems which are the biggest problems of our time and the biggest disasters facing humanity. Book focuses on environmental rights among the rights of future generations. The rights of future generations are endangered day by day due to the climate crisis and environmental disasters. The debate on the rights of future generations is increasing day by day. Because the climate crisis and environmental problems directly affect the fundamental rights of people especially the future generation. It will not be possible for future generations to reach the right to a healthy life, one of the most basic human rights, without clean air, water, soil and adequate resources. Currently, international agreements and regulations have started to come into force in this field. However, considering the enforceability problems of international law, the importance of a legal regulation at the level of domestic constitutions increases in terms of protection of human rights. In addition, since constitutions are social contracts and affect generations by staying in force for a long time, the study focuses on how intergenerational justice can be achieved at the constitutional level. The primary aim of the study is to identify the inadequacy of existing regulations and to propose efficient legal regulations by analyzing the reasons for these inadequacies. (ARKA KAPAKTAN)
